14.3 EOSH UK- Award in CPR & First Aid

People who get the Award in CPR & First Aid learn all the information and skills they need to handle medical crises and perform Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). The school teaches basic first aid skills, such as how to evaluate and treat different injuries and health problems. People who take part will learn how to spot and help people who are having a heart attack, choking, bleeding, fractures, burns, and other common crises. It is stressed how important it is to act quickly and correctly in order to save as many lives as possible.

• Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for Adults

• Managing Bleeding and Wound Care
• Fractures, Sprains, and Strains
• Burns, Electrical Shock, and Chemical Exposure
• Medical Emergencies: Stroke, Heart Attack, Allergic Reactions

This qualification is evaluated using assessments and Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ). To receive this qualification, the learner must pass both tests with a certain percentage.

The qualification has a recommended course duration of 4-5 days.
